Each of these agencies provides integral goods, services, and volunteer hours to help our guest families reach their ultimate goal of long-term stability:
| Macalester College and Hamline University: Students from both schools participate in internship programs and service learning opportunities |
| Montessori Training Center of Minnesota: Program staff assisted in the design and layout of The Family Place family room, to create an effective learning environment for the children. This program also supports the youth enrichment program with staff training opportunities. |
| National Healthcare for the Homeless Council: Healthcare teams visit The Family Place weekly to respond and care for the clients health needs |
| Ramsey County Department of Human Services (DHS): Three DHS staff members work on-site at The Family Place to provide financial counseling and other referral services |
| Saint Paul Area Council of Churches - "Project Home" program: Two churches per month provide nighttime shelter for homeless families who come to The Family Place during the day |
| Saint Paul Public Schools (SPPS): In keeping with the "Title One (no child left behind)" program, school-age children ride school buses to and from their home schools from The Family Place. Additionally, SPPS parent educators offer weekly parenting classes |
| Second Harvest Heartland: Much of the food for The Family Place kitchen comes from Second Harvest. |
| Transitional housing program partners: Amherst H. Wilder Foundation collaborative, Model Cities Housing Program, YWCA Housing program |
